Technology and Learning in a rural area

 

This is the 21st century. Today, we are used to doing almost everything with the help of technology. No matter what, technology helps us make our lives easier and allows us to do our work more efficiently and enjoyably.

In the field of education too, technology has become very useful. Likewise, English and technology can be connected together to create a strong and effective relationship.

When learning English, technology can be used in an enjoyable and interesting way. As a teacher, I also use technology in my teaching process, so I clearly understand the convenience and benefits it brings.

It also helps students to remember the subject content more easily. Moreover, they tend to engage in learning activities with more enthusiasm compared to traditional methods.

However, the area where I teach is a very rural village. Sometimes, there isn’t even enough signal to make a simple phone call. So, in such situations, no matter how easy or convenient technology may seem, it becomes difficult to use.

Also, the lack of technological equipment is another issue in schools in these areas. Many schools here don’t even have a smart board.

Therefore, even in such difficult areas, if we can provide opportunities for students to engage in the learning process using technology, it would be very worthwhile and meaningful.
